any micropistol NAA Guardian .380 owners?

I will have to check that claim. I have a model 60 and I am positive it weighs more than my Guardian
The S&W m60 (even the ladySmith version) will weigh more than either the .32 or the .380 Guardians. The airweight Smiths (m637 & m642) are a little heavier than the .32 but a little lighter than the .380 Guardians. Still, the Guardian conceals way way easier than does the smith j-frame.

I would be undecided about which had the firepower advantage since the Smith's .38 rounds are a bit more powerful but you get two more rounds in the Guardians. The one advantage I would give to the Smiths (except for the m642) is the ability to be fired SA.

Your question about the actual size of the Seecamp LWS380 reminded me that I had a pretty good picture of my Seecamp LWS32 that might give you an idea of the size of the pistol in comparison to something else.. (Car keys).

The Seecamp LWS380 is precisely the same size as the LWS32.

Hope this helps,

Best Wishes,

not range guns

Ok, so we're all clear on the fact that these are not range guns, but it has to be said that some of these micro pistols are more fun to shoot than others. For instance, I thought the Kel-Tec P-3AT was awful to shoot, but thought the Sig P238 was a lot more enjoyable (though of course still not a range gun). What I'm wondering is where the Guardian .380 falls in the line-up of micro pistols in terms of how fun it is to shoot.

Had the 380 acp which I liked very much, the only problem was that it would bite my trigger finger. I could not take the pain no more and sold it. I don't know if it was a gun problem or me. But I remember reading other people having the same issue.

After almost three years, I'm sure the op has long since made his mind up as to which pocket pistol to buy. Imo, the NAA Guardian is just too heavy to tote around all day in a pocket-and pocket carry is the only legitmate mode of carry for me if I'm going to rely on a .380 for self-defense. Anything much bigger/heavier than a Ruger LCP, a Kel-Tec 3AT or a Seecamp is going to be at least a .38 Special or 9mm and will ride in a well-made and properly fitted holster.

weight and size

Dear Playboypenguin,

Is this Guardian 380 lightweigth? Like carrying in the pocket without Holster?

I am looking for an inexpensive pocket pistol which I carry in my front pocket or Pants pockets. Has to be as small as possible.

How does this 380 compare in size with it's 32 acp Gaurdian NAA?

This thread was originally from 2007 and was brought back from the dead in 2010 and now is back again......

I have the 32acp version that's carried every day for work and they are heavier than the new 380 poly versions (Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec P380) but it works for me.

Once in a while somebody is thinking of buying a Seecamp or NAA Guardian 380 mousegun for pocket carry. Like me.

So I am asking.

I would like to hide it in an smart phone case for disguise. Will it enter in an rather big smart phone case? Will it be too heavy?
Is it bigger than an Samsung 3 Mini or and Samsung Galaxy S2? About 4.3" to 5.0" Inch Screen.

The NAa .380 is considerably bigger and heavier than the NAA .32-and the NAA .32 is too heavy for a pocket gun.
The Keltecs are much more practical.

Thanks.

If I get an good deal I am going to buy this NAA Guardian 380 pistol. Although it is Kind of expensive once it arrives in Southamerica.

I am planning in getting fabricated locally from cow leather an disguised Holster in the Looks as an bigger cellphone case (cellphone case everybody carries here since nobody has landlines).
Much People have here more than one cellphone case on the Body (for each cellphone Company one phone). A cellphone is here an Status Symbol (cellphone robbery in daylight is very frecuent here).

Although open carry is forbidden here. But I believe disguised carry can slip through the law (if it does not get detected).

As I understood the NAA Guardian 380 are way smaller than any other "mouse gun" on the market today. In fact they are about 4.8" Long (slide) and 3.5" wide (grip). My cellphone is 3" wide and 5 1/4" Long with it's case and that all fits into the leather phone case.

Only the older Brownings and other brands and models which are not made anymore, are as small as an Seecamp was/is. As I understood even the Seecamp is not made anymore. The NAA Guardian 32 acp/380 acp is supposed an copy of the Seecamp.

I would take as well rather the 32 acp instead the 380 acp but I have all molds already for 9mm Luger (Lee 120 grain Truncated Cone and 124 grain Truncated Cone as well as for 38 spl/9mm Luger 105 grain SWC). As well I just Need the 380 die set for reloading. This caliber is availlable locally which I am not sure for the 32 acp (the 25 acp is availlable but not allways but for the 25 acp I can not find a mold for casting).
So the molds for 380 I have already and just Need the dies.

I fear if I order an gun in 32 acp or 25 acp I might get surprised with not getting imported an die set or molds for the caliber.

The NAA 380 is about just over 0.5 Kg (just over an Pound). Which is heavy in an pocket but in an disguised all leather cell phone case that might work. I fear an light gun kicks like an ass and I may hesitate to shoot it (even These 9mm Luger S&W SD9VE are too ligth for me so I put there an rail on, an flashlight and an foldable foregrip to get more weight for that house gun).

The NAA .32 is slightly larger than the Seecamp.
The NAA. 380 is considerably larger.
Both of the NAAs are blowback guns and kick harder than the locked breech Keltecs, and the Keltecs are much lighter and flatter-though longer.

I almost changed in favor of the Beretta Pico 380 for it's exchangeable Frame/fire control unit due to it having the take out fire control unit.

What do you guys say about the Beretta Pico 380 acp? Or should I start a new thread?

There is no other more common place to hide an gun as an cell phone case. They robb it at gun or knife Point and certainly do expect coming out of that cellphone case only an cell phone and not a gun. Maybe that is the best trick to surprie 'em and shoot 'em.

i recommend the 32acp naa guardian. 380acp has too much recoil to be comfortable practicing, and i wont carry a gun that i dont practice with alot.

Wow, this is a resurrection of a really old thread.

I had both the 380 and 32 Guardian. I still have the 32. The 380 was painful to shoot because it's a straight recoil, but not as painful as some think. These little guys are heavy. IMO, too heavy to be pocket pistols, 20.4 oz and 15.6, for the 380 and 32, respectively. They are really handsome pistol, though.
