Umm, sorry to disappoint, but...

Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov (born 1919) is still alive and kicking.

Just a quick caution: If you're gonna install original fire control parts on an imported AK variant, ostensibly to get rid of trigger bounce, after swapping out the furniture for US made wood/synthetic, please pay attention to the "10 of 20" rule on your total parts count. Fire control parts do fit in that list...
