Any .257 Roberts fans

Took my first mule deer with a .257 roberts in a belgian made, browning safari grade bolt action. Great gun, fun to shoot and accurate enough.

The .257 Roberts is essentially an "Enthusiast" round.

All rounds that are neither on the battlefield nor in a police officer's duty gun are, by definition "enthusiast" rounds.

Shoot safe and in good health

From my research it is a decent round. Capable of doing anything you need for hunting deer. There are better more efficient rounds out there however that can do alot better. However I have always had a weakness for the 25 CAl I just like it. It has always made sense to me. However this comes from me the one who owns a 257 WBY heh.

grandpa gave me my 1st deer rifle. a remington 760 in 257 rob. many moons ago. probably not the most accurate rifle i ever put my mits on but i truely believe in the cartridge. the 257 rob does serious work on deer and hogs and kills cleanly. lil tuff to find ammo but get with a local gunshop and ask them to keep a box or 2 of whatever your gun likes and you will be satisfied with it.:D
