Anti Hunting Judge -- Must See

Until I see marked improvement in our judical system I vote to toss all of them out. Why retain mostly crap? Bill T.

Does this make anyone else sick to the point of throwing up?

This is crazy!!! The guy didn't do a thing wrong. He had every right to leave the courtroom and should have kept walking. What a *****!:barf: If I lived in her town (which I don't) she would have already had her tires slashed numerous times. This lady thinks she is God or something! Who is she to say that about hunting. The guy was calm and answered her stupid question which didn't even deserve an answer. And the baptism thing is even more ridiculous. As someone already stated, if you know the results then please post them. Also, if someone has an e-mail or way to contact her then please post! I would love to give her a piece of my mind.

Keep us posted, Don - if PA residents can throw out a sitting State Supreme Court judge and the top two legislative leaders, there's hope yet for that "Judge" getting her walking papers!

PA voters - "remember the raise!"

Third District Judge Leslie Lewis and Grand County Justice Court Judge Paul C. Cox were voted off the bench Tuesday, becoming the third and fourth judges ousted since Utah adopted a retention election system in 1985.
Lewis came under fire by Gun Owners of Utah, as well as an anonymous group that posted a Web site, after she berated the brother of a man accused of poaching a deer. She also is being investigated for allegedly changing a sex offender's sentence without telling prosecutors.
Lewis will serve until her term ends Dec. 31, said state courts spokeswoman Nancy Volmer.
Said N.W. Clayton, spokesman for Gun Owners of Utah: "We helped make some of Utah's deer hunters and gun owners aware of the fact that she was expressing extreme prejudice against a lawful activity that many of them engage in."
Attorneys who publicly supported Lewis said the community is losing a competent, experienced judge.
"I just don't like the way this one was done," said attorney Greg Skordas. "I felt it was underhanded."
Attorney Dan Berman worries Lewis' defeat sets a bad precedent. "It's very easy in the world we live in to have judges make unpopular decisions that may be very much an appropriate decision or one that you would want a judge to make independent, free of punishment."
Cox, meanwhile, was not certified for retention by the Utah Judicial Council.
Twenty-four district and juvenile court judges and 37 justice court judges were retained, as were two of Utah's five Supreme Court justices, according to unofficial returns at press time.

I'd seen this outrage on another site and wondered what would happen. The fact Utahans threw her out on her ass is GREAT news! Thanks for the updates. I'm beginning to think we should build a wall around Idaho and Utah...

I am glad to see she is gone!

I think the scariest thing about the video that was posted is that the guy was brought back into the courtroom! He was outside and she had him physically brought back in. Can she even do that? He didn't hurt anyone or cause a rucuss. It isn't a prison! He can leave if he wants!

Congratulations Utah. I'm really glad the sportsmen and those who recognize a judge who used her position to lord her authority over others is gone.
