Anti Hunting Judge -- Must See

The observer in the court audience that attracted the judge's ire conducted himself poorly. The Judge is completely bonkers, but bonkers judges still run their own court. 'Looks to me like a ballot box problem.

She caused much more disruption by bringing him back into the courtroom and even more by having him detained for answering her questions

She used her position to bully the defendant and the spectator with her admitted prejudice.
If she was going to recuse herself she should have done so with a simple statement that she was anti hunting not by berating a hunter and asking the stupidest question I have even heard an anti ask

"Have you ever looked at a deer that was alive" ?
"Well duh, how the hell do you think I shot him"
 
Yes, she did have him brought back in after he left the courtroom so she could do her own posturing and have her little drama. But the noises and his own dramatic exit is what got him in trouble. You don't demonstrate in a courtroom ... it's one step away from the slammer. As this video demonstrates. I hope the people in her district throw her out so hard she never runs again.

We had a judge like that in Orlando a few years ago
he charged a deputy with contempt of court for not turning his radio down, at a Wendy's restaurant.

I think he got reelected

Another one had a group of traffic violators arrested for failing to appear in court even after he was informed that they had been sent to the wrong room by courthouse staff.
He claimed ADD, he also kept his job

Many times local politics are more important than the national elections that we all follow so closely
 
I'm surprised it took someone from Tennessee to post this. I know for a FACT that there are TONS of TFL members who are in utah.

Utah has a disturbing dynamic about it. It's "government can do no wrong"-ville. I guaranteeeeeee, that she will be re-elected. Many years ago, the government kingdom in utah changed the laws to actually make it HARDER to get rid of bad judges. Everybody here in utah COMPLAINS about how government rules us like we're it's children, but people who try to DO something about it are ridiculed and ignored. The attitude here is "let God take care of everything." Thus, people who stand up to tyranny are seen and labeled as "strange" or "angry" people. The worthless local entertainment "media" only broadcast this story because of a harmless comment left on youtube that was twisted into being called a "threat" against her holiness. This arrogant female canine of a "judge" has a reputation for abusing people who come into "her" (actually the TAXPAYER'S) courtroom, and arrogance as long as all of our arms, yet she will be REelected w/o a doubt.

The state sends us this JOKE of a "voter guide" every election. Concerning judges, it contains an extremely complicated set of survey results where the ONLY people who are given the survey are the lawyers. The lawyers of course, get buddy buddy with the judge on a daily basis because she is like an employer who can throw you in jail at will.

Utah judges believe they are kings/gods, because when the legislature passed a law mandating storage lockers for carry permit holders, all the judges banded together and gave us all a middle finger by just REFUSING TO FOLLOW THE LAW. Utah judges by the dozen bloviated about how their branch of government was being invaded by the legislature. Utah judges don't believe ANYONE has the right or ability to have oversight over them.

Judge Leslie has already been perfectly parodied by accident on the Simpsons:

So what recourse is available within the law?

(Besides putting a deer head in her bed...Which would totally be worth the B&E on one's record)

I hate it when people think the world that so warm & fuzzy that everyone else must live in their carebear world. It's people like her that make me hate people.

This is incorrect. ALL jurors trying cases before district court judges were surveyed. The results are included in the pamphlet. Judges who do not try cases involving jury trials, of course, do not have juror survey results. If you look at the attorney and juror surveys for Judge Lewis, you will note that attorneys graded her much more severely than jurors. As to "extremely complicated", that is subjective and would depend on the beholder.

Of course she will. Most voters are too apathetic to make a minimal effort to inform themselves adequately about the issues they vote on.

Btw don, I was only PARTIALLY incorrect about the worthless surveys contained in the worthless voter's guide. I don't see any mention of her reprimands in that voter "guide" do you?

I don't see a % of how many of her decisions are overturned in that voter "guide" do you? Of course not, THAT kind of information would actually HELP the voter.
 
You know, we tried to go anti-hunting for a little while. There were a lot of restrictions placed on deer stamps. (LOTS of National Park land here, and folks were of the opinion that over hunting was depleting the wildlife for the parks.) Within a year, the white-tailed deer were so thick that the tobacco (TN's #2 cash crop; it's #1 legal cash crop) was getting ruined, and you couldn't drive in the Smoky Mountain National Parks for all the dead deer on the side of the road.

When the deer began tampering with the fences and power supplies at Oak Ridge, that was that. Big Brother (U.S. Department of Energy) declared that the Oak Ridge National Labs would begin hosting annual deer hunts on the Reservation. It was a big-ol'-time! The Parks soon followed. Now, deer hunters are seen as "performers of civic duty."

I don't know about the judge, but concerning the anti-hunting issue, TRUST ME, within 2 or 3 seasons of hunting bans, the problem will solve itself. The anti-hunters really don't realize the service that hunters provide.
 
Let's hope the door hits her in the a$$ on election day! If anyone gets the results, please post them. I wanna see this broad go down! Bill T.

I didn't comment on the value of the pamphlet - I commented on a couple of inaccurate statements.
 
Should send her a nice assortment of Omaha steaks, with a gift note that says "Have you ever seen a cow while it was alive? Does it bother you that you stopped its heart? Enjoy your steaks, your honor."
 
Even if you do not have respect for the person who is a judge you should still have respect for the courtroom and the position held.
 
So he made an "explosive display"...? BULL-S..omething or other. The guy stood up, and calmly left. The judge asked him a question, and he answered rationally and honestly. Too bad for the judge. I respect the guy for having the DECENCY to just get up and walk away from such out-of-place, ignorant blather. This woman needs to go the way of the doe-doe.
