Well my wife filled her Antelope tag this morning at about 9:00.
Nice buck with wide horns. She used the 30-06 Mauser I made for her and the shot was from prone at about 250 yards. As perfect as it could be placed, and the 165 gr Hornady innerlock drooped the buck nicely. I'll post some pics as soon as we can get them on this computer.
 
Good shooting with a cartridge that is often overlooked due to the current "magnum craze." We make the long drive to western South Dakota for antelope whenever we can get drawn for licenses. Love the meat - reminds us of lamb.

Let her know a guy you know is still practicing to make accurate shots at 200 yards from a rest, so that's a heck of a good shot in the field!
