James Gilkerson was pulled over by police officers after running a stop sign. As you can see in the video above, everything appeared status quo until Gilkerson emerged from his car with gun in hand. “He got of the vehicle, intending to kill my officers. We don’t know why he did it,” said Police Chief Arnold Stanko. Both officers were hit in the shootout but survived, Gilkerson did not.

I noticed the groups are tight too......real tight on the windshield anyway.

The guy in the background saying he has a pistol I think was jus a citizen trying to offer help.....as another member said,that really wasn't a good idea to stroll onto the X like that.
 
The LA city council just banned magazines greater than 10 rounds. Maybe the city released this video to justify the confiscation of high capacity magazines.

It is not really. There are a number of hits all over the car. Range was only around 20'. Once he started hitting the windshield he keep it on target.

The cops were lucky to go to home to their families.

Because he shot that well. Yes, there are shots all over the car (mostly driver's side), but the two windshield groups are grouped well for what he was trying to accomplish - hit the driver, change position, hit the passenger. Many of the spray shots are from when he was on the move.

Holy cow the officers got very lucky that he wasn't more determined to kill them. Sitting out in the open and waiting to be shot by officers while they coordinated their efforts was really beneficial for them.
