Another political test

This is another political test which I read about on another forum. I thought it interesting that I scored just a little bit from "Centrist" in the direction of "Republican". Several comments and questions relate to gun control.

which I guess is about right from a "Recognized" stand point though I've always seen myself as more of a Conservative Constitutionalist with some liberal leanings, but nothing that would promote a socialist dawn where THE MAN would enforce gun control and furthered proliferation of assaine laws where one has to second guess their rights to protect themselves, along with promoting more "Top Down" government versus "Ground Up" living where the elected representatives recognize they work for the pro-active populous be it collective majority or minority, and ultimately answer to us... not the other way around. Promoting instead people educate themselves as much as possible and be self sufficient as can be so one isn't crying over spilt milk everytime something isn't provided for the individual right off the bat, with a plantation mentality that wreaks havoc across all ethnic groups.

But I've never put much stock in online tests anyhow, they are fun though.
 
I don't really put too much stock in political tests. They can be made into whatever one wants by simply changing the wording. I can score anywhere from a middle of the road moderate to a full blown combative Republican Conservative. I know that I believe that it is my responsibility to look after myself and that I don't need the government's help to do it. I know what is right and wrong. And I know full well that sitting around waiting for the government to run everything and fix all our problems simply won't work. Only I can determine what is right for me and I don't have the right to tell other people how to live their lives. The government's sole purpose is to provide a basic set of rules that are nesicarry for a civilized society to function but it does not extend much beyond that. In short, I consider myself to be a Conservative Republican both socially and fiscally.
 
almost dead in the center of the libertarian camp....no surprise there...although some of the questions almost threw me for a loop..

This is very right. I selected that guns should not be regulated. Didn't vote in 04.

somehow I ended up touching the hem of the Unabomber's hood. Guess I need to curb some of my wild-eyed anarchist tendencies. :rolleyes:

Placing the Unibomber where he was on the collage was inappropriate. He fits in better with the likes of OBL and company on the lower left quadrant.

When the Unabomber's manifesto was published, I simply couldn't force myself to read it because the writing was so bad and the reasoning so disjointed. So I really couldn't venture an opinion as to where he should be on that map. I'm just glad to hear someone thinks he should be far, far away from from where I landed! :barf:
