An S&W you don't see every day

I've shot the 32/20 for years and still have SSA's, Winchester 92's in different barrel lengths, a 73, etc...in that caliber. Being a fan of the old calibers, I load for about all of them and they are a joy to shoot. 4 grains of Unique with a 100 grain lead bullet will turn that new revolver into a great shooter. They are anything but blasty to shoot! Just finished up a project building some 45/60's for an original 76 yesterday afternoon....those old calibers can be a lot of fun.

Very nice Winchester...I look forward to your posts of new finds....and envy the dedication that it takes to find those beautifully preserved pieces. Thanks for sharing.

I've posted this pic before, but don't suppose anyone'll mind a little add'l gun p**n. It too is a .32-20...and perks right nicely with good home cast LSWC's, but oh for the convenience of those old time adj. sights on yours. MIne's a nice companion, for a much loved Winchester M92 in that same useful caliber.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, you are all too kind. I sent a request for the letter. I expect it to letter to J. Edgar Hoover or Dillinger, I have not decided which :p

I also appreciate the info RE recoil of a 32-20 revolver. I heard from multiple sources how jumpy they were, and now I know different.

Winchester--
Gorgeous condition on those old revolvers, and you just have to love the beautiful blueing on those old S&Ws. Sure holds up over the years. Guess they knew a thing or two back then. :)
