Ammo shortage is still going strong

The other thing no one mentions is the longevity of ammo. What else can you buy that will still work 50 years from now?

Ammo shortage

Deer season starts saturday, and there isn't a box of .30-30 ammo to be found in the entire region I live in. Some other calibers are available though.

I am not seeing a shortage any longer in our area Dick's sporting goods has anything you want and most every thing is on sale to be cheaper than it has been in years (most riffle ammo $11.98 a box ).most others have well supplied shelves to except walmart that I think is just trying to ration ammo.

People ARE buying way too much right now, in large part a reaction to Obama's election.

Well, I'm doing my part to offset the panic buying. Started reloading, I guess it's coming up on three years now (damn, time flies when you're having fun...and even when you're not). Haven't bought more than a box of .45 LC, a couple boxes of .380 and some .22LR since then.

Just got back from the range. Few things more satisfying than shooting 100 rounds of 45acp that you put together yourself...especially if they shoot well. They did
