the values of copper, lead alloys, etc. used in bullet making has remained relatively stable for quite a few years
Copper has been rising for the last almost 3 years. Sub $1.50 lb to over $4.00
Lead also seems to have gone up, sub $0.50 to over $1.00
Transportation, read, diesel also way up over the last 3 years It can go up in the summer and down in the winter, but if it keeps going up more than it comes down your get this. Call it $2.40 up to $3.90 over the last almost years.
These are charts I found with quick google searches to backup the fact that commodities are indeed all up from where they were 3 year ago. I work in manufacturing and raw material costs of metals, and transportation, are all up from where I was paying in 2008.
No disrespect Don, and I mean that cause I have not to my knowledge responded to a comment by you, but the facts that I can readily find just aren't matching up with your statements.
As for my local Wal-Marts, I just noticed checking out one that I don't normally go by that they had raised the 100ct WWB 9mm to $24.95, up $2.00 from what they had been. I thought it might be a regional thing, which is pretty common, but the one by my work had raised its prices as well.
