I think the list is of guns that were copied, or incorporated into many future designs.
The 1851 Navy was a great revolver and you can easily justify it making the list.
The Luger was used by many nations in many configurations....but where is it today and what parts of the Luger are shown in modern firearms? The Browning locking system is used in almost all modern pistols. The HP had an influence far greater than just HP Production.
The Glock, really had nothing new. But it was done in a way, and done so well that dozens of companies have copied Glock's Work. What did the glock do first? Hi-cap? No. Plastic? No. Trigger Safety? No. Striker Fire System? No. New locking System? No. There was nothing new....but the mad did a fantastic job combining new materials, new production techniques and proven designs to make a great pistol that has won over even the toughest plastic gun critics.
