America!!! Your military has just fired its warning shot!

One of the first threads I jumped into, as a new member of this board was a discussion about the military being employed against the people we swore to protect. I vigorously defended my position at every turn, challenging all to prove to me that a President, Congress or any other governing body could or would order the men and women of the United States military to turn upon the very reason we exist.

For those of you who did not read that post or for those of you who don’t know me I am an Officer of the United States Navy, I have been so for almost 19 years now.

After the events of the last few days concerning our election, absentee ballots and more specifically military absentee ballots I hope now that those of you who disagreed with me may now have a clearer picture and total understanding as to whom the military really pledges it’s allegiance to.

The President of the United States is my ultimate commander; I must obey every lawful order he/she issues. Turning my weapons upon my countrymen is not nor will it ever be a lawful order in the eyes of 99.9999999999999999999% of all military commanders.

To reinforce this I want you to reflect back on the last 8 years. Look back on everything Klinton has done to “loathe” the military. He most recently journeyed to a communist country and posed with a bust of a communist leader with a most arrogant look on his face. With that look in a sense told the people of his generation, the men and women of the Vietnam generation to “vacuum his genitalia”, (edited for the moderators).:D

Now forward to present, the man currently challenging G.W. for the Whitehouse instructed his lawyers to do everything possible to have disqualified the military overseas ballots. A section of the vote they knew would go overwhelmingly for G.W. and did.

I have already had many discussions with my squadron mates about a country under Algore and I can report to you that is has been with monumental consent. We will not acknowledge him as the legitimate President; we will not serve under him.

You will ask, “How can you do that, you must serve him he is the President”?

It’s called resignations and lots of them.

I am telling you now if Algore steals this election your military will leave you my countrymen and we will leave you in a magnitude you have never seen.

My resignation sits on this very computer I am typing on now. I have personally helped three other Officers craft the same. Do you think we are just isolated cases? Do you think we are the only ones in the military who feel this way? If you do then you are in for a most rude awakening, as is the rest of the United States.

Anybody who claims to support following the rule of law should agree to toss out any ballot with any disqualifying factors. I've turned in plenty of absentee ballots, and it's not that tough to get it right.
However, I do agree that a Gore victory will lead to a big stack of resignation letters, and I can't blame those people even a little bit.

When I was in the service, only officers could resign. The enlisted troops had to wait for their EOE. I sure don't blame any of you if it comes to that though.

souvenirs... like an F/A 18, armed and fueled.
I have a large enough barn in Idaho to hide 1 or 2 of them... :D

Kidding.

This is sad. I agree - its needed. But it is tradgic that its come to this.

Hmmm, let's see..... a chance to quickly replace all those stubborn old "Constitutionalist" military officers who know what the military is supposed to be with a bunch of fresh young "well conditioned" recruits. Al Gore and the rest of the Communist party would love that.

The average person entering the military this year was 10 years old when Clinton was elected. This years newly commissioned officers spent their idealist-liberal high school and college years with this man. He is the only example of a "leader" these kids have ever known. Who's gonna teach them what's right if you guys go? In 8 more years we may have a military that will indeed fire on it's own people.

The United States Navy is your navy and my navy, and my blue-haired Grandmother's navy. It is not Al Gore's navy and as long as there are honorable people at the helm it never will be. It seems to me that it only holds weight when a fully commissioned officer tells the POTUS and his unconstitutional orders to kiss his A$$. I doubt it has much meaning coming from a former officer.

I understand your misery and I greatly admire your patriotism, but what will your resigning really get the rest of us simple Americans? I think this country greatly needs you right where you are right now. Whether “taking back” this country is a short battle or a long one depends a lot on who is training our young warriors minds... and who has the keys to all that cool stuff.

Best of luck and you have my deepest respect in whatever you decide to do.

Thanks for Your Service and Good Luck

Chances are high that you won't need to use that resignation. Odds are better than 50/50 that your next Commander and Chief will not be Commander and Thief.

I respect your many years of service. You certainly have every right to resign. Be true to yourself. I think that you will find that the next four years will provide more spare parts, less military involvement where our national interest is not involved and a greater respect for the job all of you are doing. Your next Commander and Chief will not wear Vietcong black pajamas and won't demand without giving you the material and support needed to carry out your mission. Odds are the George W. Bush will be your man.

Fast Eagle-as a Vet I am suggesting in the kindest possible way that you pull your head out of the dark place you now have it and think for a minute.

If you stay right where you are and all of your fellow officers do to we have a darn good chance to prevent a military out of control. But if you all bail the only ones left will be the a**holes on a power trip, and the youngsters who don't know any better.

Yes is stinks to be in that position. But if you are going to talk the talk-then for God's sake walk the walk. The true patriots in this coming mess will be the ones who STAY and FIGHT for this country.

Stop and think back to Basic Training. They broke you down and then built you back up in the way THEY wanted you to be built. If Gore's minions take control of that process, the only thing standing in their way will be people just like you who know what it means to be a citizen of a FREE country.

Please for the rest of us who can't be in your position-Stay.

Bravo,Commander !

My younger brother is a Captain in the USAF.He flies an F-15,and is a pilot trainer at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Fla.

He has expressed his disgust at being a Florida resident before, but never as strongly as now.

He has told me similar feelings to yours. His commander has had to tell his men to cease making derogatory remarks about their "Commander in Chief".

He was with the 69th TFW in Iraq during desert storm, and his squadron was the first to drop bombs on Baghdad. He sat there is that God-forsaken desert and flew through unbelieveable ground-to-air defenses day after day to serve this country.

I had many good friends die in Vietnam. Now our "President" is over there kissing up to the commie bastards.

This is a dark time in our country's history.

Believe me,sir, this is one American that respects you and what you stand for !

My conduct will not go without though, nor will that of my fellow officers. I appreciate all the encouragement and I say to you that if G.W. is my Commander-In-Chief I will stay.

I have served under a reprobate of a CinC for 8 years. I just don’t think the men of my generation can take four more of someone using the military for personal gains. Policing every little rat hole that cannot hold an election without an attempted coup (i.e. Yugoslavia) kind of ironic now if you think about it…
Or using us as a global meals on wheels program. It turns my stomach to know that the pay of the average enlisted man is below the poverty level for a family of four. Some cannot provide basic housing in certain parts of the world and must live on base; a major inconveniences for the wife if she works in some areas.

I hope Dubya wins, for the sake of all, the military and my sanity.

P.S. Hey George I might take you up on that barn in ID if the stuff hits the fan. But I must warn ya! Once word gets out and the rest of the boys finds out, it may be more than one or two, might be one or two squadrons!!!

Prez Spends $65 Million on Vietnam Trip, Marines Go Without

No president in the history of the union has logged more travel miles and spent more money doing it than Bill Clinton. And Clinton's trip to Vietnam last week, with its $65 million price tag, was no exception.

Now a retired military source tells NewsMax.com that the president's Vietnam junket cost more than just taxpayer dollars. In fact, he says, Clinton's Hanoi holiday may have actually tied up so many military aircraft that it effected defense readiness in Korea.

The ex-Marine shared a recent e-mail from an active duty soldier in the Korean theater:

"The figures below are shocking in their sheer numbers and cost alone. However, when juxtaposed against the impact on operational readiness for our Division (we're not the only force affected) I think you'll understand my deep-seated concerns."

The active duty Marine enumerated some of the military resources commandeered to ferry Clinton around Vietnam. They include: Twenty-six C-5 transport aircraft, thirty-three C-17 aircraft, four C-141s, ten KC-10s and one C-130.

"We are in the midst of exercising one of our regularly scheduled incremental training exercises with (Republic of Korea) Marines in Pohang," said the soldier. "Unfortunately the non-availability of lift in the theater has severely retarded the deployment of (even) a single reinforced infantry battalion."

"I only wish the American public could have visibility on these matters," the Marine in Korea concluded.

They do now.

Fast Eagle, thank you for your service to our country.

JJR and others make important points. If all honorable men and women in our military resign as you suggest, we are in deep ****. Hopefully, this will turn out for the best. But, if it doesn't, we'll still need brave and competent men and women to guard our shores.

I respect your concerns. And, we can only hope for the best, and try to determine our proper course.

These Presidential trips are truly astonishing. I wonder how much all of us have paid for Clinton's grandstanding, including his wife's campaign expenses that were run through the White House budget.

Regards from AZ

George,

If you need more space, I'd be glad to drive up from Nevada and help you put up a few more barns....:D

What the hell does Klinton need with twenty six C-5's? I know he has his motorcades, but what else would he need? You can practically stuff the entire White House into a C-5. Does he need that much space to transport all of his whores? Or is he bringing enough opium back for the entire country? Yeah, he's the POTUS, but this is just a little too friggin extravigant.

Fast Eagle, as a former Marine, let me tell you. Stick around. We're gonna need some good Zeros out there leading our boys when the SHTF. Just keep the Hornet fueled, armed, and strapped around your ass.

Fast Eagle,

I respect your views and greatly admire your integrity and patriotism. If only our
military were led by folks like you.....

As you know, if the NCO/CPO grades do ONLY what they are told, in the WAY
they are told to do it, the military grinds to a halt. “Malicious obedience” can kill
any program.

Those enlisted folks will need both sane leaders and strong protectors if Gore is
elected. You could do much to serve the country you love if you could tough it out
“inside the machine.”

(pause)

On the other hand, there are many miles of little-used highways in Texas. I believe
we could handle a few more “barns”. ;)

Fast Eagle - You have the well-earned respect of the people who are the heart and soul of this country. Many thanks for your service. Now, speaking of coups... A military takeover of Washington might not look so bad right now. Just kidding (I think).
