You weren't just ambushed--you were massacred! : ) I've been eying those SA M1's--boy I'd sure like to have one but that's just a dream at 3K!

YOU were ambushed??

At today's small gun show near Atlanta (Lawrenceville), I was about to leave, then spotted a very nice post-WW2 Mauser Hsc in .380. Had recently decided that my last handgun would be
a French-made PPK (until '86): "Made In West Germany"; only tested/proofed there.

About the only thing which stopped me is being acutely aware of that fact that I could not buy a handgun in another state without shipping/transfer etc.
And going through airports the next few days is always a turn-off, keeping the tempted visitor only an observer.

Ignition--your experience was only a stalking--unless you succumbed to the seduction and pulled the trigger emptying your wallet it wasn't an ambush LOL.
