Am I Wrong About Glocks?

Glocks are reliable, and cheap. Name any other semi auto, any, that can go 300,000 rounds and go bang every time. The trigger? It's awful until you press it about 50,000 times then it seems normal. Carry without a round in the chamber? The Glock is the same as a revolver, press the trigger, and it goes bang. Hair trigger? Hardly, most Glocks are 6 lbs plus. Go measure some. Go to any competitive shooting format, IPSC, IDPA, Steel Challenge, see how many Glocks there are. See how many LEO agencies use Glocks. If you are that scared of a Glock, then maybe you shouldn't have any handgun.

First of all I would NEVER put a chambered Glock in a holster-less fannypack, ever, never. A trigger block has been recommended- Why buy a damn pistol that you have to BLOCK it's trigger? Ridiculous.
I beg to differ about VALUE. The Ruger P-95 is still the best value on the market today. It's all the Glock is at hundreds less. Take it from a good source. I've owned both and regret big time selling the Ruger. No regrets dumping those Glock's. Also, check out the fine line of CZ pistol's. Once again, hundreds less than Glock's. There's simply alot of choices. Good Luck, J. Parker

9x45; Personally, I don't consider Glock's cheap. Actually, I was checking prices today and the least expensive Glock was a G-19 with fixed sights at $519.00. Maybe I should shop around, eh?
The Glock trigger same as a revolver? I've owned alot of revolvers in my day but never one with a 51/2 pound trigger. Sorry, can't agree with you on that one.
When Glock's first came out they were hot stuff but in 2001 with the market so competitive, there're simply good pistols along with many other good ones. Just my thoughts of course, J. Parker

With a round in the chamber, everyone warns you to keep the Glock in a holster, or Keep your finger off the trigger. So long as you have a holster, you can do things with both hands free when you need to because you have a safe place to put the Glock. But with NO holster, a 5 lb trigger, and no manual safety, what do you do? The holster is the Glock's manual safety. Can't leave home without it.

Keep your finger off the trigger
Duh this goes for all guns. Also Glocks do have a safety its located on the trigger instead of the frame.
