Am I the only one that gets mixed emotions as an auction is about to end?

To be completely honest, I've never actually won any auction that I truely regretted. Like CC-Hangfire, I've spent $20 or so more than I really wanted to and eaten tuna sandwiches for lunch for the next week to justify it to myself. About the most I ever really "overpaid" for a firearm was a 20ga Antonio Zoli over/under that I paid $500 plus shipping and FFL for that really should have been more like $500 total.

If I win what I bid on, I got a good deal. My spouse is different since she is very competitive and hates to loose.

I enjoy winning an auction. If not, I prefer seeing the winning bid significantly higher than my max bid and not by a few dollars.

A guy backed down on a lot of scopes and suddenly I was the top bid.

I didn't even know that someone could retract a bid... So be careful lol
