Alternatives to P07?

When I said I only have all steel-framed guns, the CZ75B Compact is one of them. Shadow hammer, SS guide rod, polished barrel hood, CZ Custom tuned action, Meprolight NS, etc. All I can say is that she's just fabulous. Was willing to let this be my fiance's HP/Range gun, but noooo. Fiance otherwise likes ergos, but insists it's a little too heavy for her. Not that I'm doing any crying that I don't have to share...happy to find her the polymer she covets.

It is tough to beat the CZ-75D PCR, or P-01 for an all around 9MM. Let her handle them, and see. The full size 75B is also a great choice.

A slightly different line of thinking.

The P07 and P01 weigh nearly the same, ergonomics and cost will be different and the P07 has the safety that can be changed by the end user. I believe the P07 also locks through the ejection port, so it's a slightly lower bore axis than a P01.

What about the CZ 2075 Rami?

CZ sells these as a CCW pistol, but it's really medium sized. Honestly, it shoots like a fullsize gun for me, especially in 9mm. I would have NEVER considered one, but someone was selling a new one cheap, so I bought it. I love the pistol and carry it frequently.

The 14 round magazines come with a built in grip extension allowing for a fullsize grip.

- 14 round mags that come with the pistol give you a fullsize grip / 10 rounders give you a compact grip
- Available in fix, adjustable or night sights.
- 3 inch barrel
- Locks through the ejection port, which means it has a lower bore axis than other CZs
- 25 ounces (It's lighter than a P07).
- This is the same weight as a Glock 17. Recoil will be mild in 9mm.
- Medium sized. Less top heavy than a CZ-75 or a P07
- Good for CCW AND night stand duty. Long 14 round mags as a range or fullsize carry pistol or 10 round mags for a shorter grip.
- It will also take CZ-75B mags, but they stick out. The P07 doesn't take standard CZ-75b magazines.

Con: No accessory rail.
