All the ammo in Wal Mart, Academy, etc. is gone.

"Bubba Sanders, owner of Bullseye Supply LLC, in Brandon, Miss., said he has "a number of doctor clients whose financial advisers have told them to invest in ammunition. Beats the hell out of money markets and CDs. You can double your investment in ammunition in a year."

A little optimistic, but even the WSJ is on board.

Good, I hope they all get in $hit when they pass the ammo ban.

4 Walmarts spread througout the midwest and one Rural King - no 9mm, no .40, no .45, no .38. One Walmart had 8 boxes of .44 mag. Some had a a couple boxes of .44. A couple had some .357. I saw a total of 3 .380 ammo boxes out of 5 stores. Lots of 30-06, some places had .308, and all 4 Walmarts had .223. .22 was getting low. Always plenty of .270, and shotgun shell.

And I am not looking for 9mm anymore. It will be there when it gets there....

the other day , my walmart had about 50,000 rounds of 223 ammo out on the floor, more in the back. Im not telling where either.:D Hopefully CDNN sports has not bought it all 400 rounds at a time. Our Walmart however had no primers, or powder. Had bullets and brass though.
The limits on ammo purchases are wonderful!! It is nice to see the ammo back on the shelves at reasonable prices. I Absolutley will not do business with any gun dealer that buys all the ammo out of where i can go get it myself for half the price. These greedy , inconsiderate ahem "businessmen" ( rymes with grass hole) are the reasons prices have gone nuts. You argue they have to make a buck too. Well, yeah, but they dont need to make 75 bucks on one box of ammo. Never again, I see a walmart box of ammo on your counter at a gunshow, on your internet page, or whatever, I will yell and scream and tell everyone at the top of my lungs about it, and I will not buy as much as a box of 22lr from you. I hope I have completely offended every gun dealer on this forum that practices this little scam. thank you.

For the last 2 weeks (roughly) the Walmart here has no handgun ammo at all, just 22-250 (no 223), a couple boxes of 30-06, some junk 308 and low grade 7MM, some 243 and 222 Remington... some 17HMR and 22Shorts.. don't even have any 22LR.

I just checked Cabelas - up to 1200 rds 9mm 115gr FMJ 0-1week backorder.

Getting better I hope.

I hate to be a party pooper... but I had a few hundred rounds of Fiocchi 9mm on order with them about 3-4 months back. No matter how long I waited, every time I checked the site it said it was "expected in within 1-2 weeks." After maybe 6-7 weeks of that I got an email saying that unless I told them otherwise, my order was cancelled.

They should get on the ball with that. Pretty sure their backorder dates are guesstimates at best.

Damn !!!!

I thought I could order some up and get it.

Well, I'll place an order and see what happens.

NEW INFO:
I ordered Winchester 115gr FMJ 100ct boxes - due at CRI 4/24 !!!!
It said online 0-1 week.

The Magtech stuff is at 2-3 weeks
The Remington stuff just says 'backorder'

NEW INFO 2:
Winchester now shows 4-5 weeks backorder and my order is 'pending'
Maybe I'll be lucky and get some of that shipment that was due today

The last two times I went to Wal-mart have been able to buy 9MM. Two weeks ago I got two hundred (100 round WWB ), they had 6 box's and I only took 2 box's. Today they had two box's and I took them both:)
