Aimpoint / Eotech Cross Breed !

There is no doubt that Aimpoint sights are well made but way over priced. If anyone took one apart they would see how simple they are made. They have very few parts and they are low cost. Most think that high quality lens are very costly, not so.

Back to the Vortex Strikefire. Here is a review on it with pictures if anyone would like to read it. They sale for $130 most places. I plan to pick one up.

Yea, they're "so simple" everyone else in the industry has back-engineered them, offering comparable products for much less. Oh, wait... That has not happened, in part perhaps because "less is more" and less is not as easy as it seems, apparently.
 
Just purchased one from Sportsman's Guide for approx $130.00 shipped. Should ship around the first of October. Thanks for the link MAX100, that was interesting.
