Aftermarket stocks for the budgety-but-good new breed of turnbolts

That was my reaction as well, and the Rep didn't seem all too happy when I expressed that I wish the 770 would just die.:rolleyes:

In its own regards the 783 is a nice enough entry level hunting rifle... even if it is a copy of a Savage.;)
 
You can buy a Remington 700ADL and a basic Savage 110 for $350-$400.

New? If so, I need to move to wherever you are at.

And even at the $600 price point of the T3, that still leaves me $200 ahead for glass, or several hundred bullets and a couple pounds of powder to send down the tube, all for the same group size.

Now, I am not saying that these entry level, "budgety" guns are going to outshoot high-end guns, but they will more than hold their own with the traditional, go-to bolt guns.
