Accuracy expectations

Go to the range and shoot from field positions, and tell me that you can shoot moa. I would suggest that shooting on the side of a mountain from sitting or whatever you can use, that no one can shoot moa.

That is quite a statement. How about the following target.....shot the first week of December this past year during a rifle course with my .308 Win. Please note the head box....4 shots....a cold bore shot from 100, 200, 250, and 300 yards. No spoilers, no warm ups, just 4 shots from those distances while laying on my belly in the desert in Nevada. That group measures 1.5" center to center. Hell, I didn't even have a bullseye to aim at. :D

So...does this qualify me to say I can shoot MOA?

When I go out, if I don't see am animal, at the end of the session I carry a water bottle or similar item out walk back and shoot it with the round I had chambered. I always hit it, good enough for me. The closest thing I have to a bench is the corner of a tailgate and an upturned bucket.
