Abcnews at it again

I just saw some coverage of the convention by Allison Stewart, of ABC World News Now. The old WNN staff was much more unbiased, but lately the editing has been much more liberal. Anyway, on this coverage she was interviewing people asking them what they thought needed to change about their party, and one of the few answers that met the cut was, "I want to see the Republican party get more away from special interests, like the National Rifle Association". This irritates me greatly. How much do you wanna bet that there were people there that said, "We want a president that doesn't fall for stupid hype and is willing to trust the people with firearms." Maybe not in those exact words, but I don't doubt something to that effect was said.

Anyway, I wrote them a very tactful but reproachful email at wnn@abcnews.com

They read a fair amount of email that they get on air between stories, so we'll see how far this message gets :) I sorta doubt it, but it should prove an interesting experiment.

The Bill of Rights is a document of brilliance, a document of wisdom, and it is the ultimate law, spoken or not, for the very concept of a society that holds liberty above the desire for ever greater power. -Me

Stephen, thanks for those links -- they proved to be very informative. I was looking for something like that for a while. Thanks again, FUD.
