A very impressed Walther PPS owner right here!

Yeah, it's too bad S&W isn't doing warranty service anymore. They didn't care how old the gun was, if the person bought it used, etc.

I have several dozen wheel guns most of them are S&W's. I don't shoot many of them much lately. So what does one do if they have a problem with an older S&W? It I recall correctly when bought them they were offering a lifetime warranty on them.

Hmmm, not sure -- I've never had an issue with my old S&Ws (knock on wood). :) I just know that they went above and beyond when anyone had a problem with their PPS a few years ago (covering shipping both ways, randomly returning guns with extra magazines, etc.). I imagine they would service anything they could, but I'm sure you'll have to pay to get it to them. They've probably run out of some parts for their older guns as well, so while they may service an old one, they may not be able to replace an older part with a historically correct spare.

Bought a 9mm PPS specifically to cover the void while the xds was being recalled. The trigger puked within 20 rounds, but the dealer and S&W took care of that with minimal delay and no cost.

The pistol is very accurate, especially after getting used to the trigger and higher POA. The seven round mags offer the little extra to get all four fingers comfortably on the grip, while maintaining excellent conceal ability.

Let me see if I got this correct. S&W is doing the warranty work for Walther? I though the relationship between S&W and Walther went south several years ago?

So after looking around the internet for awhile, it looks like Walther USA pretty much is S&W? I am correct on my assumption?

Welcome to the party. The PPS is one of the finest compact CCW guns you can buy and it sounds like you can attest to.

Mine has been my go to since I bought 3 years ago.

My wife picked one out when she first started concealed carry. However, once she got hold of an LC 9S the PPS stayed home. The Ruger is smaller and lighter and is a shooter. I like the Walther and often carry it when I don't bring a 1911.

Yeah, I've only been wanting a PPS for about 6 years now haha. Better late than never. Now I need to finally purchase a PPQ M1 as well.
