A USP for me!

glockler,
The ejector cracked in such a way that the slide stuck. Neverending stovepipes. Overall, it was an unpleasant gun to shoot for it's size and caliber. My brother had the same problem when he had his PPK/S, too.

I'm going NUTS because I haven't been able to take the HK to the range yet. It's been whispering to me all night long - "shoot me.....you know you want to......." I did put Houge slip-on grips on it; I don't like frontstrap checkering.

In Para news, my brother LOVES it. He wants to trade. I told him he NEEDS to weld the recoil system better, because I wouldn't trust it as is. He's very good with tools, and he said he might actually make a new one. If the HK works out great, than I'll trade. Hmmm..... Trade for?

I have two full-size USP's - 45 & 40. 1,650 rounds thru the 45 & 400 thru the 40. The 45 is reliable & the most accurate 45 I've ever shot. Only don't like the heavy D.A. trigger. The 40 is also great, except for that STOOOPID lock in the grip.

I'm a 1911 fan. the only other make of pistol I own is a USP 45f. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love the gun.

Henrietta, my USP .45 Compact Stainless is great!! Accurate as heck. I can't shoot it very fast, but it's indoors and they don't let you anyway....
