We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world;
and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding twelve men
every day who don't know anything and can't read.

In my town, open carry is legal. I don't have to pay a fee or be fingerprinted and photographed to do it, as I would if I had a CHL. No paperwork. RKBA at its best!
Concealed where my permit is valid. Open where the permit is not valid, but open carry is. I try to stay away from places that do not permit any carry, but carry concealed when that is not possible.
I carry open everyday at work, I work in a pawnshop. Out of work I try to conceal it, b/c all the kids in the stores ask me if I am a cop. It gets annoying.
No offense to any leo's out there!

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
Open carry in public is not legal in Florida. Even if it were, I doubt I would carry open. Carrying a weapon is like sex; if you do it in the open, it freaks some people out, and others will try to grab a piece of the action.
Open Carry in CO is legal, but I choose to conceal. I RARELY carry openly. I hate the looks, because I can't just jump up on my soapbox everywhere I go (I'd never get anything done!), I hate to feel like I'll be targeted by a BG, and I also like the feeling of,"everyone thinks that I'm just a regular Joe" kinda thing. It's easy to fit in if you conceal well.

Why is everybody all boud up about the AK-47? YEAH, I GOT ONE, WHAT'S IT TO YA?!
Idaho is a CCW and "open carry" state. I ALWAYS carry concealed, except (tiny caveat here), when out scouting for elk/deer season out in the mountains, etc., as I then carry either my S&W 57 .41 Mag., or my R.B.H. .45LC, openly. Usually, when it's scouting time, it's too warm to wear any concealment clothing, plus I wear a belt of 30 extra rounds with the holster.
Concealed ALWAYS. Open carry is, as far as I know, not legal in TX. Unless I'm in my home that is. If option for both were there I would still carry concealed. The element of surprise is a very good partner. Having people freak, and there would be people who do so, is not my intent. Being the first to get targeted in the SHTF is also a bad thing.
Open carry is verboten in Florida, I always carry concealed.. And I mean ALWAYS! the only exception to this is whan visiting one of the locations where carry is illegal.. other than that..... Mark / FL
I've carried openly on occasion. Particulary to and from adventures inthe mountains. I have yet to do so without being conscious of at least one person nervously eyeing me. I have even noticed nervous glances in the mountains.
