A new 9mm without moon clips by Korth

Well, the sideways rail mount is certainly different.
I think it puts this gun in contention with several others as "goofy gun ideas to attract the new to guns crowd".
It was really interesting until he turned it over!

yeah ill side with cheap shooter on that. I havent watched the video but i can imagine...

I wonder if it uses the same star design of that old smith? That was a neat gun.

Watch it, rather amusing. Just don't be drinking a soda when you do. The bubbles trickle your nose as the soda comes out when you start laughing after he turns it over!:D

Please resolve my confusion... If the rail is mounted on the side and an accessory is attached to the rail, how is it holstered?

I do notice that they have sized the cylinder lengthwise for the 9mm, so making it a combo gun with .38 Special or .357 would not be possible. A swing cylinder revolver using 9mm without clips is nothing new; both S&W and Charter have done it, the former for a foreign police contract, though the idea never caught on in the commercial market.

As to the rail, that is just the thing for an infra-red night scope unit - now to find a shoulder holster for it.

now to find a shoulder holster for it.
Or to find any holster for it. Especially if you hang something on the side.
But if they become popular, I'm sure holsters will follow. "Build it and they will come".:D

The rail certainly is hideous but not a horrible idea. A lot of people use revolvers for home defense; having the option to attach a light is something you only see in a few revolvers. Sure, the Korth isn't sonething your going to find in many nightstands across the country but I think lots of people would welcome the option to attach a TLR or the like.

Well the rail is quite odd, but honestly I think it looks cool. At least no worse than the LCR9.

But, it is a Korth. What is the MSRP? $2500??

Korth makes quality products....but not inexpensive ones. I have no doubt that it will work well. The rail is an interesting touch....better than the one S&W did.

Can't wait to see Colion Noir do a review on it....
