A hotel surprise

I rode a Harley to Sturgis every year for many years. The motels at Sturgis always had a barrel of old towels outside in the parking lot. We all know why!

That jeep ain't beat up enough to consider what you guys do off roading.

This is what a real off road buggy looks like. :D

Also, Justified is probably my favorite show on TV.

Hey wcar, I've been to a lot of rallies on my Harley, and every hotel I've ever stayed at had the same pile of old towels ... they're not to clean your guns, they're to keep you from using bath towels to wash your bike ... a lot of those hotels will also set up a bike-washing station outside with a hose and the aforementioned pile 'o towels ...

hey, bikerbill! Yeah, I knew that but I didn't make it clear in my post what I was referring to. What you say is true. They even have a container for the dirty towels so they can wash them and put out clean ones every morning. But, who knows, a few just might have been used to clean some weapons. In the privacy of my room, of course! >)

We got that service in Tuscon and Phoenix Az in the late 60's when going to a big rifle match. It was appreciated. One Motel even had a mat to put down in the room so our biker/shooter could bring his bike into the room instead of leaving it outside for some drunk to run into.
