a handgun that you would buy another of

Nice foursome, BillCA. I especially like the 4" blue with Pachmayer Presentations. I had a 4" nickel with those grips on it, and it had the best action and was the most accurate revolver I've ever handled. Unfortunately my house was burglarized and the slime got my baby. Sad, sad . . . :(

K-frame S&W's,,,

I have a blue Model 15,,,
A cleanly working Model 67,,,
Perhaps I need a nickel model 15.

I do like my Combat Masterpieces. :)

Too Many Different Guns

There are too many different guns out there for me to want to buy duplicates. I have a hard enough time buying the same caliber. Wish that wasn't so, but I'm not so wealthy I don't have to be conservative in my gun buying. Good for you guys that can buy whatever and whenever. If I were to want duplicates it would maybe be matching Colts SA with a Hollywood rig (like the old movie cowboys).

Currently only have two pairs..

Marlin m66 .22lr rifles, one in SS, one in blue, different barrel lengths. The SS is mine, the blue is mini me's.

Colt Pythons, 4-6", both Royal Blue. How can you have too many Pythons?

There are a few more pairs I want...

I currently have a 6" Colt Anaconda, would love to add a 4".

Also, I have a Charles Daly 1911EFS, really want a Nighthawk T3.

Would love to add a short barrel m27 for mini me. He has an 8 3/8" nickel version, would love to find a 4".

Although not exact match, would love to add a 4" m18 to go with my 6" m17.

I've had the multiple Glocks too...21sf/30sf. 22/23.

While some of you can't see a reason to add duplicates, I can't see a reason not too!!

For collector stuff or budding collector stuff, I have duplicates as well as variations of the same model (caliber, barrel length, finish, etc.). Seems perfectly natural to acquire these variations if you like the model. In my case, this is mostly related to the Colt Diamondback rather than what I consider ordinary firearms. But then, I have a few S&W M17's too and the pile is growing. But I don't own a M617.

stealth: how did that 9mm handle in that frame, did it feel like a slightly smaller .45? Its a nice looking gun.

219Zipper,
The 9mm handles exactly like the 45 save for the difference in the grip size. The 45 is a Bill Wilson Carry compact and the 9mm Sentinel grip is 1/2 inch shorter... which is really great for concealed carry! The Ritchie leather holster really carries it tucked!!

Mauser C96 Broomhandle. As a child I had a fixation on that gun.

Randall Southpaw - especially if it's at a good price. I wouldn't mind getting a B132 fixed sight one or a shortened LeMay one or even one in a caliber other than 45 ACP.

Duplicates

I don't see any reason to own 2 identical guns. I have a Glock model 22, I could see getting a 19 or 23. I have a Colt Commander. I would consider a 5" 1911.

I have 2 Redhawks, one 7.5 inch .44 Mag in High Gloss Stainless, and a 4" .45 Colt. I have a P-90 and a P345, and would happily buy another of either one.
