A few questions.

(1) What is the least total cost to get a legal full auto gun? TOTAL COST OF EVERYTHING

(2) I want a small shotgun. Whats legal?

(3) Would PVC pipe, with foam tube pipe insulation glued in it, be considered a suppressor legally and in reality?

Nevermind #(1) I guess I should have done a search first. About $5,000 total right?
Can I make a full auto gun?
Or get a licence to make one and hire someone to make it for me?
Im sure this has been asked before. Sorry.

supressor

reality, wouldnt work the pvc and the foam actually amplify the sound, it's hard to describe, tried it, and no spray foam doesn't help either, potatoe's still works onna .22 tho, lol. shotgun, an A.O.W is the smallest, aow=any other weapon, most require a tax stamp, and the NFA rules will apply, As for the full auto biz, the class 3 license, most of what you will spend is time. A tax stamp for each firearm that's full auto, and of course you hopefully not being a felon, will allow, local PD, Sheriff, FBI, ATF, or any other agency into your home at any time to check on you, at any time they wish, and all the record keeping books you'd be req'd to have etc etc, if ya have lotsa money and time tho, go fer it. check the atf i posted, request the necessary forms, they mail em to ya, dig into yer background super deep, and then ya wait fer approval, after sending in the appropriate fee's, and paperwork, one of which has to be approved by your local chief law enforcement in yer locale.

$2500-$3000 = Mac of some sort

Almost anything is legal if you pay the transfer or making tax...best be a AOW shotgun like the one made by American mfg.

Attach it to a firearm, yes.

How much would it cost me to get the licences that would allow me to make a short shotgun or SMG? Could I make it full auto and could I make it with a non-removeable integral silencer?

1. The cost for a license is expensive and only for people that actually work in the industry. Not to make one gun and paly with it.

2. You can make a SBS or AOW on a Form 1. You can not make a machine gun.

3. The key is to BUY an AOW not a SBS. Transfer tax on a SBS is $200, transfer tax on any AOW is $5.

Model: 500 series Mossberg™ Cruiser
Barrel length: 9.0"
Magazine capacity: 2+1 for a total of 3 rounds.
We have used the Aguila Mini Slugs with varying rates of success. It seems to depend on the user as to whether they will cycle reliably or not. If these are used, the magazine will hold 5 rounds!
Suggested retail: The Savior retails for 475.00. Remember, the transfer tax on the Savior is only 5.00! Dealers, please contact us for your pricing.

Short Barreled Shotguns. These, Short Barreled Rifles, "'Any Other' Weapons", Destructive Devices, Sound Suppressors, and Fully Automatic Weapons make up the six catagories covered under NFA'34.

LOL
I told my local pawnshop about the super shortys and now they are trying to sell them.

One more question.
How much would it cost me to make a legal silencer?

OK
Here is another stupid question.
How much would it cost me to make a handgun legally?
And what kind of markings are required?
Could the SN be "1" or "01" or even "001"
I like the idea of an unmarked SS 1911 with a short unique SN like "1".

I believe that you order a frame from Caspian with your own serial number.

I don't think would "1" be acceptable though

You can have any serial number you want.

As to cost, unless you have a kickass machine shop in your house you are going to buy parts. those parts (frame) will have a different serial number than one. So it's prolly not going to be an option to "build" one but to put one together from parts.

How much would the license cost?
$200?
Could I use someone else's kick@$$ machine shop?
I would make the frame, barrel, and slide.
Do you think that would cost me more than $800?

To make a handgun, rifle, or shotgun for yourself, there is no license required.
You can use someone else's machine shop... BTDT. Built some cool g-jobs :)
If you don't count the value of your time, you can easily make a handgun for under $800.
