9mm NATO ball ammo

This is exactly why my 9mm is a CZ75B full size . Why worry? Ruger is also an excellent price-conscious choice for a 9mm that will handle real 9mm ammo not to mention that Austrian Company-------Block or something like that .;)

Will Beararms,

The CZ 75B can be had for about the same or maybe less than a P95 Ruger. making it a "excellent price-conscious choice" too. In fact, the entire CZ line that I'm familiar with fits the "excellent price-conscious choice" label rather well.

And let us not forget that PEAK pressure developed by a cartridge is not a good indicatior of projectile performance. In many instances a lower PEAK pressure round will out perform a higher PEAK pressure round.

Just an observation:

I've fired our issue 9mm in the M11 pistol and my own pistols. The recoil and muzzle blast are about the same as my warm reloads that were assembled within standard pressure. 124 gr. +P ammo I've also shot recoiled much harder and with more blast. S&B loads were also more like the military stuff or warm reloads.

Unless there's something called DOD practice ammo, I have a hard time believing that NATO standard in +P+.

if youre going to +P+, are you trying to get too much out of the cartridge. you risk wear to the gun. increased recoil. so go with a larger cartridge.
