As a police firearms instructor I've shot all three and all are excellent. I voted for the M&P because I like the ergonomics better. Yes, I have one. But my favorite is the Glock 19.

Pick the best one that fits your hand. Quality and performance will be pretty similar. Good luck.

I would not buy any of them.Get a Sig P320 and forget the others.

Those are really evenly matched, I'd prolly go with the FN but if you like the Smith better that's what you should get.

I've owned them all and if I had to choose between those 3 I would choose the M&P. I just shot tighter groupings with it and felt less recoil with it.

get your hands on a xd 9 mod.2 4". sweet gun and very ergonomic imho. i'm a glock guy but bought said xd mod.2 for my wife as she didn't care for the fell of glocks and much preferred the xd mod.2's undercut triggerguard. i will say it has me questioning my brand loyalty ha!
