9mm in a 357

If memory serves me, and sometimes it doesn’t, Smith & Wesson made a five shot revolver that was stamped as .38 Special / 9mm Para. Might have been a J frame? It would shoot 9mm with a moon clip. My brother had one about 20 years ago as I recall.

Was it factory? Maybe it was a modified handgun?

S&W made the 940 9mm snubby, 940PC 356TSW (9x21.5) snubby, and the 547 9mm K frame. They never made one that shot .38 spl and 9mm, .38s will bulge and can split when shot through a cylinder chambered for 9mm.
