Advice from another persecuted state. Will you be able to resell the CZ in the future? In MA, a dealer can't sell a CZ anymore - but they can be sold privately to another individual owner, so there's no real urgency to a decision, just the need to buy privately, which in this internet age, isn't that difficult.
Will you carry it, or is it a house/range gun? The Glock is a lot lighter. Some people have recommended the CZ 85 Combat, which has better sights among other features, but does not have a firing pin block. Some people prefer an external safety for a house/range gun, which the CZ has - have you thought about what you are most comfortable with?
I own a CZ 85C and am impressed with a lot of Glock features. I think owners of one or the other are making hyperbolic claims. Glocks are common, reliable, and durable, but the trigger action is an acquired taste and their accuracy doesn't seem to match SIG and Walther, maybe even CZ. CZ's are an excellent value, but their internal fit and finish is not up to most collector guns. The part about the CZ being most battle tested is, ahh, optimistic - many, many more military and police units field Berettas or SIGs, currently, but that is largely a function of their ability to support the logistic requirements of military use - the CZ 75B is a classic, reliable, durable, accurate, and well-supported in the U.S..
Personally, I would also look at the made-in-Maryland Beretta 92, and Walther P99 and then spend some time shooting them - that's what it's all about! If you are only going to buy one, buy what you are most comfortable shooting, and leave the legislative lottery choices to people that want to spend more. I like my CZ 85 Combat, but much prefer the sights on my SIG, so it's all about preference. The CZ will leave the most money in your pocket, but the others are all popular and have more established resale prices if you want to sell it.
