9mm 1911

My RIA 1911 9mm shoots 115 gr just fine but ejection pattern is not consistent. Most time, it kicks brass about 3 ft away, but sometimes just drops brass on the bench. Good news is none hits my forehead or drops a hot brass in my shirt! My other 9mms have much consistent ejection patterns, sometime I wonder if I can put a hat at 4 O'clock and collect the brass! Not this one.
 
JDB, I never hesitated to adjust the sights on my Trojans or other pistols with adjustable sights. No factory can zero a gun for me, or any other human. We all have different eyesight, grip, trigger press, use different ammunition at different ranges,etc. Sights from any manufacturer are just ball park, not zeroed for any particular buyer. I or any other shooter might luck out and get a gun shoots right where we want it to with no sight adjustments. But, it is just our good fortune when that happens......
