8 shots in 1 second

There is a show on "The Men's Channel" (DISH Network) called "Smith & Wesson USA." It's basically an infomercial for S&W, but they do a lot of cool stuff like go into the factories, interview Performance Center smiths, and such.

In one recent segment, Roy Jinks brings out ol McGivern's gun for Miculek to shoot. It's been in the NRA museum for over 70 years. Miculek has a grin like a little kid, saying he's been waiting 25 years to shoot this gun. As soon as he's handed the gun, he spins the cylinder and can't believe that it's been in storage, unshot, for seven decades. They show him shooting it rapidly at the end of the segment. Very fast.

Also, on last week's Shooting Times, Miculek was shown competing in a shooting competition where you shot thru windows at stationary and moving targets while moving/reloading. I'm pretty sure he was the only one shooting a revolver. Watching him reload that fast not just once, but repeatedly as he moved through a course, stopping occasionally to fire off three two-shot bursts at three different targets thru a small window, was simply AMAZING.

No tricks, just amazing shooting.

Sorry to get "mouthy"

I just hate it when guys are so quick to dismiss something based on a lack of first-hand viewing. I know people who you could say "A shark ate some fish yesterday" to, and their response is "whatever, there was not."
It's maddening. I meant no offense, of course, but "shut your hole" is standard lingo in the Navy, and it's easy to let it spill over into the rest of my life. I am 31 years old, and my mom still has to tell me to watch my mouth from time to time.
Back on topic: Jerry was at Mid-South near Memphis once while me and a few of my buddies were training. I thought I was getting pretty good with one-second reloads with the Sig 226, and then Jerry began shooting at the neighboring range. I was simply dumbfounded. I have never felt so totally un-trained in my life. It was like thinking you're a decent driver and then doing a couple of laps with Schumacher. It's almost impossible to see his hands moving.
Jerry's wife is no slouch either. She has held more records than most male shooters.

steveracer No need to take back your words, your right

I stood 20 from him and watched him do what he did on TV, I had the chance to shake his hand and altho diddnt hold his gun did see it.
If you still think you could do the 2 cylinder shot with his gun and speed loader any where as fast your a fool and have no right to say what you did about this nice man and that was the one thing that I took away from meeting him. He is a genuin shooter of the type this world has very few.
What amazed me the most was not just his speed but the multiple targets after he fired all the bullets were what is commonly known as KILL shots.
So if you dont want to "shut your hole" lets see some films of you nonbelievers shooting any where near as fast.
