7-round revolver: I was impressed

Just sold a 686 3 in plus no lock for $550 to dealer at gunshow. Fine revolver, just couldn't adapt to that 7th round.

I have not shot one, but a friend who owns both says that due to the shorter distance the cylinder has to rotate (1/7 circumference instead of 1/6 circumference per trigger pull), the 7-shot 686+ has a smoother, lighter DA pull than the original 6-shot 686.

My son say's the same thing about my 686+.....but he shoots a lot more DA than I do. I bought a 5'' TALO 3-5-7 two years ago for just under $700. I don't notice any difference over my other 686s except that I end up with one round at the end of the box instead of two.

Should go with the 8 round .357 SW TRR8's little brother

the nightguard.

Same thing, in a snubbie!

I just bought a new 686+ a few weeks ago and I love it. The seventh round is a nice addition for me, I haven't had issue with my timing, but I was initially trained on a double stack semi. I paid around $680 out the door for it, but that was after a good 7-8 months of patience and hunting.
