Mr Beliveau got over 1000 fps with a ball using a reduced load of 33 grns in ROA pistols.

He did a chrony test with a 1860 army also, I dont remember what the results were though

Been a while since I have been on the forum......

I loaded some .45LC with a boat load of 777 3F.

My 5.5 inch barrel Ubertis and Ruger got red hot performance. Kicked like a mule. Pistol got hot quick.

Stopped shooting those rounds. Downloaded them in favor of a little lighter load.

Use the 777 in 45-70 Trapdoor, Rolling Block and Sharps with no problems.

I probly will avoid 777 3f in the future.
