642 Club @ TFL

My 642...

...is on my hip as I write this. I have become quite fond of it. It took some getting used to the hammerless design but now I actually prefer it over my 637.

Another 637 owner here.Hammerless probably would have been more practical for a carry snub,but just couldn't bear to part with the hammer.

....exceptional photography Playboy...Ken Lunde should be worried. BTW, We have DHart, formerly of the 1911 forums, whose photography skills are also first rate.
 
Have a 442 and a 642. They always work and in my opinion are the best "pocket" gun you can have. I also have a "bodyguard" model, but find that I carry the others more. That is a change from a year or so ago when I always carried a 638. Now I use the 442/642 more. I like the better trigger.
 
Smith and Wesson 637. What can I say, I prefer a hammer.:) Great guns though and my 637 is my constant carry weapon. Dressed in faux pearl grips just because I like 'em.
 
You won't kick me out of your club because I have a 442 will you? No lock, a little honest holster wear and all love :cool: You'll have to forgive my bad picture though....I just whipped it out, snapped a pic and put it back in my pants:eek:

 
I will be picking up my first J-frame (642) off lay-away next week...I can't wait!

I am sure you will love it. When I first saw them I cannot say it was love at first sight. The two tone finsh of the stainless and alloy threw me at first but I really grew to like both the look and the reduced weight.
