Down at the LGS I told the guy I want to put wood grips on my 4' .500

He looked at me puzzled and said he would not suggest it.

No wonder peoples hand hurt, have problems. I never can understand why someone(besides just displaying it at home) would want to carry a revolver in wood grips/shoot it with them on, painful! and a 460? wew...........
 
buy the 10 inch one and cut it down with a hack saw lol If I were you I would get what ever you think fits your needs. My first hand gun was the 500 and I couldnt be happier. If I did not hunt with mine it would have a shorter barrel on it. the price of ammo sucks but its like buying a big suburban. Cost alot to drive but beats the heck out of driving a super compact car. the extra cost is well worth it. good luck finding your 5 inch model
