45 acp acquisition

The ones I have shot recently seem well done. If the PRC was allowed to import them into the USA it would be interesting how that would affect the Turkish and even Philippine made 1911s.
 
No doubt to me if we got 'em at or near the Canadian prices, it'd put a serious dent on other imports, regardless of warranties. 300.00 / Wow! I remember a couple of years ago up there they were offering the 1911 and 1,000 rounds of .45acp for 499.00. The stuff dreams are made of. And to think the importers, distributors, retailers are stiil making their cut. Whoa.:rolleyes:
 
I found one at the LGS, so it followed me home, and is at Yoda's gunsmith shop getting a new barrel, night sights, trigger, hammer, beavertail fitted.
