Barrel erosion starts to rise exponentially as you move out of the mid 50ksi regime into the mid 60s
(Note that the 204Ruger is SAAMI spec'd at/under 58ksi)
The Swift, at 62ksi and the 22-250 at 65 are therefore "barrel-burners" by comparison.
The Swift, however, will give you max'd out 22-250 ballistics at far more moderate pressures
-- (with a "5" in front) -- and can be used w/ great effect w/o burning the barrel/throat to pieces
