40 years of CZ75

I like the rainbowing, but like many of the others I'm sure the "tribal"-type engravings really kill me. It just reminds me of my very least favorite types of tattoos!

The gun looks fine to me, but I'd probably dump the grips for some nice rosewood ones.

Of course, the price tag scares me.

Maybe I'll just get a regular 75B this year. Or, more likely, a P-09.

Its better looking than the 30th anniversary pistol and also way too expensive. I would rather have one of their target pistols for that price or buy a CZ85 Combat and have enough left over for one of their .22 rifles.

I wish they offered the gloss blueing for a standard 75... I like the practicality of the polycote, but that deep blue is nice.

My two tone has their matte blue, no that looks good too.

Completely not feeling those grips, but I like the rest for the most part.

Too rich for my blood though.

Why would anyone want tribal tatoo flash on a Czech pistol? It makes no sense to me.

CZ is king of the stupid commemorative like the time they did the Cold War USSR 75B.

To me the grip is perfect, now my Sig P226 E2 grip is funny.

CZ-75B: $529 from KY Gun Co
CGW Pro-Package upgrade: $426
Robar NP3+ complete: $395

Total: $1,350. Or $150 cheaper for a better-looking and better-shooting gun.

And personally, I'd probably do the electroless nickel instead of NP3+ (savings of $145), and buy the 10-round 75B for $50 less (since I already have plenty of standard-capacity magazines). And then I'd sell those two 10-rounders for another $45, so I'd actually be down to $1,110.

C'mon guys, haven't you ever seen a classically understated "Pimp Special". I didn't have to pay that for my Tactical Sport, and it's one helluva gun. As far as the tribal cut tats, grapevines or pheasants would be out of place.
