I imagine everyone's perception is somewhat different, but to me there is a significant difference between a 4-5/8" SAA (clone) and a 5-1/2" SAA (clone).
Everyone's perception is somewhat different....otherwise we'd all be shooting the same firearm with the exact same barrel length. Lucky for us here in the U.S. of A. that we have the options we do when it comes to the variety of firearms available to us. I have handled both the 4 3/4" and the 5 1/2" Evil Roy models. To me there was no significant difference in the way they balanced in my hand, nor do I believe in .45 Colt C.A. loads will there be any significant difference in performance. Will the extra 3/4'' give a better sight radius but make it trickier to draw from a holster? For the gun buyer that needs to come to a forum and ask which they should get...I doubt it. For somebody that regularly and actively competes in C.A......probably. Just my perception tho.
