380ACP Experience

WV, you are evil! An affordable used Beretta 84 is tempting, but then I'd have to get a used 81, too, and they appear to be pricier. What is the difference between the BB and FS versions?

The BDA 380 still looks great, but the upside-down safety mounted high up on the frame would now confuse me.

Question about the LCP. I owned an LCP gen 2. But I got rid of it because the trigger pull was about 2 city blocks long. And it effected my accuracy with it.
I have seen some people stating that their LCP has good trigger pull. Has Ruger upgraded the trigger? I know they did in the LC9 to LC9s - big improvement!

Thanks

Decockers on the FS. No decocker but a pure safety on the BB. There are a few other differences that are escaping me at the moment.

Here is a link to an awesome chart detailing the details and differences in the 81 series guns that was put together but the Beretta Forum. They are an awesome resource for everything Beretta!

I own a taurus tcp and a glock 42 and I love my Taurus. good trigger and it light enough that I dont notice when i carry it. the only trouble i have is light strikes on fredommutions ammo. my glock also has light strikes on the ammo so i dont blame the tcp. that would have been nice to know before i purchased 500 rds haha. Plinking sessions turn into malfunction training:D

Pocket carry, I like the Sig P238. Light trigger, very easy to work the slide, even for my wife. She usually has some difficulty working the slide on a semi.

I like the now discontinued CZ83. Very accurate little pistol with very good trigger.

This is what the Colt Government Model 380 looks like. It is bigger than the Mustang and fires from a locked breech. I am hoping for very light recoil (for my wife and daughter), due to the locked breech and heavy steel frame. I get to take it to the range in the morning. :)

I got this one for $200-something. The finish is kind of worn, but it functions very well.

My preferred choice for a pocket .380, but they want a heck of a lot of money for a tiny gun.

I look forward to the day when the triggers on my CZ 83s are broken in like the one on my CZ 82.
