.38 special semi jacketed lead HP

To the OP, I've found that I had to be very careful, and use a larger caliber seating stem to keep from flattening the ends of some other soft lead hollow points.


I also found that semi jacketed soft lead hollow points, especially in .357" were far more vaulable to others as self defense bullets for 38 snubs than to me as paper punchers, so I sold off few hundred and ordered a box of 500 SWC with the money. :D
 
I've loaded many of those back in the old days. As I recall I'd put 5 grains of Unique under them for a .38 Special. Never had a problem and accuracy was better than I could hold.
