357 Sig reloading tips

My issue was a round nose 9mm bullet.

You can NOT use round nose 9mm bullets unless they are 147 grain ones, the 115 and 124 grain round nose are too short and do not have a long enough shank on the bullet to be held in correctly for the 357 Sig, sorry but that is just a fact of life. (flat point maybe)

Purchase bullets designed for the 357 Sig not just ordinary 9 mm's.

Just bought 500 Hornday 125 HAP 's for $66 at Graf and Sons. Almost the same price as Extreme plated bullets.

When I load jacketed for my 357 sig, I use the 125 HAP bullet. It is simply the 124 XTP without the jacket skiving that allows it to expand. This means the HAP bullet will act like a FMJ, not expanding like a HP. (If you were wanting to hunt with it).

Like Fox said, it can sometimes be found for plated prices, good score!
