.357 mag vs FBI Protocol

In the Miami-Dade shooting every round fired by the FBI, that hit a Bad Guy, did just as the FBI had wanted it to, it just didn't work. The whole thing was a screw up of tactics, a lack of communication with locals and ammo failure. And yeah, I went to 2 schools where all we did was study this screw up. The propaganda film turned out by the FBI was just a coverup.

Shot through the upper arm and into the chest collapsing the lung; missed heart by one inch (9mm Silver tip). This is the vilified bullet.
Shot through the right thigh.
Shot through left foot.
Shot through right forearm fracturing the Radius and exiting the forearm.
Shot right upper arm entering torso and stopping at shoulder blade.
Shotgun blast(s) injuring both feet.
38+P shot into chest bruising spinal cord.

This accounts for at least 7 of the 12 times Platt was hit. Looks an awful lot like poor hits. Handgun bullets don't do what we need if you aren't hitting COM of CNS.

The agents 357's were loaded with 38+P not 357 magnum ammo.

I guess the answer is no

Is there a manufacture that claims to make .357 ammunition that has been specifically designed to meet or exceed the full FBI test, barriers included?
I am sure that a heavy .357 mag with a quality jacketed hp in all likelihood could pass the FBI test. That wasn't the question. I wasn't questioning the effectiveness of the .357. If a 9 mm can be designed to pass the full FBI Protocol, I'm sure the .357 can. My question was as quoted above. Horandy with it's Critical Defense (not available in .357) was designed as a service round from the ground up to meet or exceed the FBI standard. What about the .357? The question wasn't can it, could it, should it and why give a hoot about the FBI test anyways.

My frustration is not with the posters that replied to my question. I appreciate the feedback. My beef is with ammo manufactures that have overlooked the .357. The FBI test as flawed as it is, is an objective comparable standard for ammunition performance. Not having the deep pockets of the FBI, I deffer to their testing when selecting a PD ammunition. I would like to load my PD .357 with off the shelf ammo that the reputable manufacture (Federal, Hornady, CorBon, Winchester etc.) asserts that it dose in fact meet the accepted standard.

Post Script: Good article in this months American Rifleman on Hornady Critical Defense

FBI standards don't particularly impress me either. The 10 mm was initially designed for FBI agents, but was too much gun for the average shooter (or agent). MMM, It was shortened to what is now the 40 S & W. If you want penetration w/357, shoot Buffalo Bore lrn as mentioned. 357 is such a potent round I double up using ear plugs, and muffs when at the range. I cringe thinking about shooting 357 in an enclosure like in a room, or inside of a car. If the boogie man gets it anywhere in the torso, they will most likely be out of commission.

Actually I am currently loaded with the short barrel stuff. If I use it will most likely be from in my house. I would be legally deaf for a day maybe?
