Rem's full power 125 JHP...but the 357 is really for the future Mrs Glamdring [whoever that might be :)] the 4" 629, loaded with 44 special 200 GDHP ,is my "house gun".

I do have the non +P 125 nyclad 38 specials and some 110jhps 357 mags around also. Have had the 110's tested by a friends better half, she liked the 110's [out of a 4" Speed Six] better than the 125's.

Oh yeah also have some Federal 180 grain Castcores in case Jurasic Park happens :D Wouldn't want to lose Mrs Glamdring to a Velociraptor

At this moment, 158 grain HydraShoks. I know that is a "serious" .357 magnum load, however, my rationale is simple. If -- Heaven forbid -- I ever need to use my GP-100 for in-home self-defense, I will need it VERY badly. I doubt if many other loads can provide the accuracy, expansion and penetration of this one.

Federal Premium Personal Defense 130 grain HydraShok. Also have loaded the Remington 125 grain Golden Saber. Caliber for both is .357 Magnum.

I may get laughed at, but I think that CCI Blazer JHP 158gr. is a pretty good round. They're cheap enough so that you can shoot them whenever you want. Give them a try sometime.

3 rounds of 38+p 125gr Gold Dots followed by 3 rounds Winchester white box .375mag 110gr jhp (Ruger 4" GP100).
