Someone has offered me a trade on a .41 magnum for my taurus. 357. The. 41 is a blackhawk 6 inch and so is the taurus. I know ammo for the. 41 is not cheap and i do have a reloading set up but itll be a little while before i can get the dies though. Basically im wanting feedback on is it worth it to trade my. 357 for the. 41? Plus like i said its a ruger too and ya cant go wrong there. Any info eould be great thanks for looking.

I shoot both. The .41 is a whole different experience. After six rounds I was sold. A buck a round for store-bought, but what a smile! Mine is a Smith model 58. Shoots dead on with Remington.

No brainer.

You reload.

.41='s handloader's dream....
...and if you hunt with a pistol, the Ruger 6",.41 IMO,is perfect.

Like i said i wont handload til i get the dies . I also do know the ruger is worth more and a better gun but. 357 is more practical as far as ammo. I just wanted feedback cause i dont wanna trade for something i wouldn't shoot much.

As the others have-YESSS!!! A Taurus for a Ruger Blackhawk? In a heartbeat.
And as others have said, the 41 Magnum is a reloader's dream.

Do it! If you don't like it, you can trade the Ruger later for a .357 S&W or Colt. You could never do that with a Taurus (no offense)
