.327Federal; a good round or the next wildcat caliber?....

I've wondered why no manufacturor has made a 6" revolver with adjustable sights for the 327 Magnum.
A K framed Smith in 327 would be oh so nice.

While it's a single-action rather than a double-action, Ruger does make the Blackhawk in .327 Federal with a 5 1/2" barrel and adjustable sights.

My wifes first carry was a Taurus .32 H&R mag in a 2" ported snubby. She now carries a Ruger LCR in .38 sp. I like the .32 and would buy one in a longer barrel as I think it is a good target/ hunter shooter. We reload so it would be easy for us.

I have a Blackhawk and an SP101 in 327. Even from the short barrel, the factory loads launch at over 1400 fps. The cartridge is great for what it is and is just right in the little Ruger. I have so far fought the urge to have my S&W 16-4 6" rechambered for the round.

I bought a 632 for my recoil-sensitive wife last year....my first .32. I'm very impressed with the caliber and with the 632. The .32's--.32 Smith and Wesson, H and R mag, and .327--are a joy to shoot and to handload. The ballistics of the .327 indicate that it is a serious defense round. I'd love to see Smith develop a LW 7-shot snubby chambered in .327. That would give the pocket autoloaders a run for their money.

^^^ I too would look at it if they made a 7rd snub out of it, then it would offer enough difference from my 5 rd snub that I would take a hard look at it. Untill then, it is a "BIG NEW THING" that is slowly dissapearing from the market becuase of a lack of interest......now if democrats could do the same thing.....hmmmm.
